E-Conference Visa Process
Eligibility:
The e-conference visa is valid for foreign nationals attending conferences, seminars, or workshops in India. Visitors from countries outside of India must have a valid passport with an expiry date at least six months beyond the planned date of departure from India.
For foreign citizens, we will compile Passport details shared by you and apply to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Govt. of India seeking the security clearance for all the IMPLAST25 attendees. You can start preparing your application for an Indian Conference Visa. Once we get the security clearance from MEA, we will provide you the necessary documents, and then, you can apply for an Indian Conference Visa. Applicants must have an invitation from the organizer of the event. The accompanying persons, if any, can apply for an Indian Tourist Visa.

Application Process:

  • Please register here by sharing your details as requested in the form to receive the invitation letter. The conference secretariat will provide delegates with official invitation letters upon completion of registration.
  • Visit the Official Indian Visa Website: Indian e-Visa portal.
  • Complete the Application Form: Fill out the e-conference visa application form with accurate personal and conference details.
  • Upload Required Documents: (i) A scanned copy of the passport’s bio page (passport must be valid for at least six months beyond the date of arrival in India), (ii) A recent passport-size photograph.

Pay the Visa Fee: Pay the required visa fee online through the secure payment gateway provided on the website.

Processing Time:
The processing time for an e-conference visa is typically 3 to 4 business days. However, it can take up to 7 business days depending on the volume of applications and other factors (Get Indian Visa)

Receiving the e-Visa:
After processing, the applicant will receive an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) via email. Print the ETA: Print the ETA and carry it with you during your travel to India.

Entry and Exit Points:
The e-conference visa is valid for entry through designated airports and seaports in India. Ensure you enter and exit through these points.

Duration and Validity:
The e-conference visa is usually valid for a short duration corresponding to the event dates, with a validity period typically aligning with the conference schedule.

E- VISA for tourist who will register as accompanying person

If you are planning to visit India as accompanying person of a IMPLAST25 participants for tourism purposes, you will need to obtain an Indian tourist visa (check if you need visa). Here are the key steps and requirements for securing your visa:

Visa Types:
e-Visa: The most convenient option, valid for 30 days, 1 year, or 5 years. It allows double or multiple entries depending on the validity.
Regular Tourist Visa: Available for durations ranging from 6 months to 10 years, with multiple entries.

Application Process:

e-Visa:

  • Eligibility
  • Visit the official Indian e-Visa website.
  • Complete the online application form.
  • Upload a recent passport-size photograph and a scanned copy of the passport’s bio page.
  • Pay the visa fee online.
  • Receive the Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) via email.
  • Print the ETA and present it upon arrival in India.


Regular Tourist Visa:

  • Visit the website of the Indian embassy or consulate in your country Indian Embassy/Consulate Locator.
  • Complete the visa application form online and print it.
  • Schedule an appointment at the nearest Indian visa application center.
  • Submit the required documents in person, including:
  • Completed visa application form.
  • Recent passport-size photographs.
  • Passport valid for at least 6 months beyond your planned stay in India, with at least two blank pages.
  • Proof of residence.
  • Copy of flight itinerary.
  • Proof of sufficient funds for your stay in India.
  • Pay the visa fee.
  • Wait for visa processing, which may take a few days to a few weeks.

Required Documents:
• Completed visa application form.
• Recent passport-size photographs (as per specific requirements).
• Passport valid for at least 6 months beyond your planned stay in India.
• Proof of residence (utility bill, bank statement, etc.).
• Copy of flight itinerary.
• Proof of sufficient funds for your stay in India.
• For the e-Visa, a digital copy of your passport’s bio page and a photograph.


Additional Information:
• The e-Visa is non-extendable and non-convertible.
• Ensure that you apply for the visa well in advance of your travel date.
• Carry a printout of your e-Visa (ETA) when you travel.
• Upon arrival in India, you must present the e-Visa (ETA) at the immigration checkpoint.

• More than 1 year and up to 5 years (multiple-entry): Around $177 USD.


Conference Visa:
• Up to 6 months (single or multiple-entry): Around $72 USD.
